ISP Professional Development – Review of the Virtual Science Best Practices Report

How do we keep the rigorous nature of the science and engineering practices and phenomena-based learning intact in a virtual environment? In this session, we will give an overview of the Keep Teaching Science! report released by NextGenScience and WestEd. Key best practices for teaching science remotely will be discussed through the lens of specific curriculum examples. We will model a portion of a virtual mySci lesson featured in the report, and give space for participants to brainstorm and share what has and has not worked for them
