Novel Engineering is where literature meets the engineering design process. This session will engage both beginners, or educators who have tried NE in their classroom and would like to go on to the next level. We will share strategies to take this engaging, content building experience to the virtual classroom.
As students return to school, many of them will come with anxieties and fears which will impact their learning. Now more than ever, teachers need to attend to the social emotional needs of their students. Students will need a repertoire of tools to persist in rigorous lessons and to participate in meaningful math conversations.
