Why do wolves howl? Why do some birds dance? Find out the answers to these questions during our Animal Behavior program! This virtual program includes interactive activities and a close up of one of our animal residents. This program lasts approximately 60 minutes. Cost of the field trips is $80/classroom of 35 individuals or less. +$10 for every additional person after 35. Wolves and foxes and African painted dogs, oh my! This program will bring one of the Endangered Wolf Center educators into your virtual classroom to teach your students all about the eight species of canids at the Center and what the Center is doing to help them. They will see photos and videos of our animals, tackle some animal trivia, and learn what they can do to help the endangered species the Center is working with. This program lasts approximately 45 minutes. Cost of the field trips is $80/classroom of 35 individuals or less. +$10 for every additional person after 35. Wings of Hope is dedicated to providing resources and tools to students and teachers. Our educational programming aims to provide aviation and STEM-based educational programs that meet the Missouri Learning Standards and Next Generation Science Standards. Wings of Hope is able to accept reservations to attend events from local nonprofits, schools and other community organizations. Activities are adaptable to K-12 students and must be connected to aviation or STEM.
Building Futures is a design and build workshop, located in the Old North neighborhood of St. Louis. There is no comparable STEAM-based educational offering for this age range in the city, providing youth 5-18 years old the ability to learn through hands-on design/building with hand tools, power tools, technology, and more.
